It’s movie night, but everyone wants to watch something different. Dad wants to see something full of action. Mom wants to watch something with a love theme. The kids want to turn up their iPods. No problem! Savionaire recommends something for everyone.
The Taking of Pelham 1 2 3 (Sony Pictures; DVD, Blu-ray; 106 minutes; Rated R) puts an action-packed twist on the original 1974 movie. Watch Denzel Washington take on John Travolta and his criminal crew as they take over a NYC subway train. Michelle Pfeiffer does her own takeover as she engages in a May-Decmber affair in the period piece Cheri (Miramax Films; DVD, Blu-ray; 92 minutes; Rated R). There is a new young hot hip-hop/rap group making their move in the music industry called Da Recruits. They have just completed their new hot single “Money and Fame.” Also, they have a second song “True Life” that is getting rave reviews as well. Kids will want to listen to these hot songs that are clean for all to hear at the Da Recruits’ site.
