You are jogging in the park when you suddenly collapse. The paramedics come and rush you to the hospital. As you lay in bed unconscious, the nurses frantically tries to figure out who to contact to let them know your status. The head nurse notices your smartphone and searches for your ICE contact. However, your phone is not iced.
ICE (In Case of Emergency) is the creation of Bob Brotchie, a British paramedic, who felt that there should be an easy way to contact a sick person’s emergency contact/next of kin. To ice your phone, simply input your contact’s phone number under the title ‘ICE.’ Once that is done, anyone who picks up your phone can easily find your emergency contact person.
Thema’s Tip: Input more than one contact person: ICE1, ICE2, etc. U4VTV9YF3V4C
